  • This campground is located at the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers which form the headwaters of the Missouri River. It is rich in history as Lewis and Clark camped very near here in 1805 with the Corps of Discovery. There are many scenic hiking trails and a nice day use park area nearby. Great!
  • The best overnight stop on this trip. Nice grassy pull thru site, very long. The grounds are landscaped beautifully. We would definitely stop here again.
  • This place is top-notch. The whole campground is like a highly manicured and well-groomed park. The owners were pleasant and helpful and everything worked as advertised. We would definitely stay here again.
  • This campground has wide, grassy, and well-shaded sites. The facilities and equipment were clean, well-kept, and in working order. Park staff were pleasant and responsive. WI-FI was available. This is a truly restful and relaxing park.
  • We camped here for three nights, and would recommend this park. Staff are helpful and friendly and the owners, Tom and Sara very nice. Lots of shade trees and near Wheat Montana (the best place to have breakfast and lunch with the best bakery goods and breads around. Also, good for a trip to the Missouri Headwaters State Park where the Madison, Gallatin and Jefferson Rivers form the Missouri River.
  • Nice park. Friendly staff.
  • It is like a private park. It is not open in winter. It is a green oasis on the open plains. It has lots of mature trees and there are no trees in the area. The owners are friendly & share their petting zoo. The headwaters of the Missouri River is near.
  • Quiet campground in a pretty setting near the Jefferson River and Missouri Headwaters State Park. Friendly, helpful owners keep the park spotless. Great place to take a break from I-90.
  • We really wanted to see the Lewis and Clark Caverns and decided to camp here for one night. With so many other things to do in the area and the absolute attractiveness of this place, we ended up staying for four nights.
